Clarissa B.

Founder, Head of Midwifery

I trained as a midwife at the University of Padua, Italy, in 2014, one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious universities. My growing interest in the continuum of care—from preconception to postpartum—led me to join University College London Hospital as a foetal medicine midwife, where I was able to focus on life in utero. During my years in the NHS, working across all maternity departments, I recognised a significant gap between contraception and pregnancy, a critical stage that often lacks structured support. This insight motivated me to pursue an MSc in Public Health at LSHTM, specialising in health promotion, preconception care, and strategies to enhance continuity of care in order to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes.

With over a decade of NHS experience, I remain deeply passionate about providing personalised, continuous care. This passion led me to establish my own practice as a private midwife, offering bespoke, holistic support to women and families.
