New partnership with Fertifa

Midwife care through your employer: our partnership with Fertifa
If your employer offers Fertifa, you may already know it as the benefit that helped with fertility treatment, egg freezing or the long stretch of waiting that comes before a pregnancy. From this month, that support does not stop at the positive test.
We are proud to announce that The Motherhood Practice is now a partner of Fertifa, Europe's most comprehensive reproductive health and neurodiversity benefits provider. Fertifa supports the employees of more than 50 UK companies, including Bain Capital, Monzo, lululemon and Sony, with wraparound care at the moments that matter most.
Through this partnership, Fertifa patients in Greater London can now access midwife care from The Motherhood Practice. That means a dedicated, named midwife from the moment you find out you are pregnant, with seven day a week WhatsApp support for the questions that do not feel big enough for a hospital call but are too big to sit with alone. It means birth plan education, birth preparation workshops and support at the birth itself. And it means dedicated postnatal care at home, including feeding support and physical recovery, through the six weeks that standard care tends to leave to you.
All of this sits alongside NHS care, not instead of it. Your hospital, your consultant and your scans stay where they are. What we add is continuity: one midwife who knows your history, including the fertility journey that came before, and who does not need to be told again at every appointment.
That last point matters more than it might sound. Many women arrive in antenatal care after months or years of treatment, having been closely watched by a fertility clinic, and are suddenly discharged into a system that sees them for a few minutes at a time. The fear behind the joy is real and it is common. A midwife who has known you since eight weeks, and who understands what this pregnancy took, is a clinical decision as much as an emotional one.
We are grateful to the Fertifa team for building a benefit that follows people all the way through, from the first appointment to the first weeks at home with a baby.
If you have Fertifa coverage through your employer and are expecting, get in touch with us or with your Fertifa care team and we will take it from there.
